Another silent film night was held in St Mary’s Church on 28th January. The church was full and James Harpham was on top form playing the musical accompaniment to “The General”, starring Buster Keaton. The film lasted for 90 mins and it is amazing to me how James can effectively play a musical solo, in precise time to the film, for that length of time! Thanks very much to everyone involved in making it such an enjoyable evening. All of the proceeds from the evening went to church funds.
