A very well attended meeting was held to discuss what the village should do to celebrate the jubilee in June. A number of thoughts were considered but we settled on an idea to join in with the national “Big Jubilee Lunch” on Sunday 5th June and have a street party / picnic. This is the date that communities are being encouraged to get together to celebrate the jubilee, and hopefully break a world record in the process!
A venue has been selected but a lot more planning needs to be done, so please watch out for more information on this in due course.
