You are invited to the open-air promenade music party on Spring Bank Holiday Monday, 31st May, 3.15 p.m. to about 4.45 p.m. on “New Ground” at St Mary’s church, Calstone. The performers – Lucy (violin) and Rebecca (violin and recorder) of Concert on Your Doorstep and James Harpham (piano) and Stefan Hardy (percussion) – will provide a programme of popular classics from a variety of genres to entertain us as we party. “Tickets” are £5 person with under 12s free. The snacks and nibbles are being prepared by Brigid Harpham and wine will be available at £3* per glass, but feel free to bring your own drinks if you prefer. Tickets are limited to 30 people. Bookings by Friday, 28th May, please (plus an email to pjrn@lineone.net with the names of those attending) can be made via https://givealittle.co/campaigns/1dbf45c6-f473-4f18-af77-34a855239b10 so that all monies raised will be donated to St Mary’s church. Bookings are on a first come basis and the organisers will return any donations beyond the 30 limit. We are at the mercy of the weather and so coat and umbrella or T- shirt and shorts are welcome as appropriate. *Contactless card payment preferred to cash, please.
