I came across this piece in he Local newspaper which seems to suggest will are to be the diversion road for a week whilst the Council carry out repairs to the road edges from Blacklands Crossroads to the A4 Is this acceptable ?

I have checked on the one.network roadworks site and this confirms that it is the road into the village via Blacklands Crossroads which will be closed for one week. There is no alternative than to route all village traffic into and out off the top part of the village via Theobalds Green.
I will send a note around the village telling everyone about this and asking for them to be careful when driving on the single track road.

I am not sure but I think they are referring to the road from Blacklands Crossroads east towards the village rather than the main road from the golf course to the A4 past Blacklands Mill. If the road I think they are talking about is closed the only way into and out of the village will be via the road past Theobalds Green to the A4.
With my new hat on as one of the Parish Councillors I will check and update this post.
